'Our intention is to create a safe space for exploration and healing, without imposing any expectations or pressure' The goal of the Somatic Alignment Process is to restore the flow of energy throughout the body, which is essential for our overall well-being. The restoration of energy circulation reduces physical pain and supports you to adapt to situations or stressors in healthy ways. Energy is an integral part of existence. When oxygen fails to flow smoothly through the body, it can lead to chronic pain. The term energy can also be called chi, prana, circulation or can be referred to as oxygen, blood, or the movement of nerves. The practice adheres to a unique principle: cultivating a state of openness and expansion, replacing the state of contraction and closeness in our clients which profoundly influences various aspects of their lives. Somatic Alignment relies on three fundamental pillars Breath, Movement and Touch What to expect You will be lying down for the majority of the practice and gently breathing. The mind and body will be encouraged to relax. As you continue to breathe you may experience subtle energetic shifts, body movements or emotional releases. There is no force or expectation. I will be there to breathe with you and support you to release tension by applying touch to areas of the body where energy is stuck. I will provide some sound during the session using my instruments and my voice. The session will end with a sound bath. These sessions will take place in my home studio in Highgate.
